So many of pieces of jewellery tell romantic or long stories of passage through families and are truly treasured possessions. But jewellery with a sense of humour will always keep you and those around you smiling. I've picked a few key pieces I've seen across my travels that always have brought a smile to my face.

Missoma Funny Face Collection Diamond Smiley Face I love that you have four to choose from the Missoma Funny Face collection. There is Smiley, Cheeky, Sunny and Funny. I love the black diamond sunglasses on Sunny but Funny with his massive grill like grin is definitely the one for me.

This carnivorous ear cuff from Annelise Michelson was a close second for my favourite piece in this weeks post. There is a real vibrancy to the shape of these cuffs that bring them to life. I love the subject of the jewellery as flora are always come back in to jewellery trends and are a constant source of inspiration for many designers. I love these happy and sad earrings from Nektar De Stagni, especially as the Sad face just looks so sad! These are on pink freshwater pearls with black pave crystals. Miss-matching studs are also set be a big trend this year so keep your eyes peeled!

The Running Man Ring from Khai Khai is definitely my favourite piece and shows a real display of what it means for jewellery that makes you smile. Not only is the T-Rex a fabulous shape but the collection name is truly laugh out loud. Check out the other pieces from this collection here

For those with a bit of attitude, this "Screw You" Necklace is fierce as it is delicate. Priyanka Lugani has a wonderful sense of humour with many of her creations mixing tongue in cheek messages with charm.
