To celebrate London Craft Week, Fortnum's has teamed with iconic goldsmithing and silversmithing guild, The Goldsmiths’ Company, to curate a selection of exceptional jewellery and contemporary silver objects for sale across three floors of our Piccadilly store.    Featuring the work of emerging and established designer-makers alike, visit Fortnum's between May 3rd-31st for the chance to Meet the Makers and purchase their work - and during Craft Week itself (9-13th May) catch the stunning work of contemporary jewellers and silversmiths in our Duke Street windows too.

Disa Allsopp: Inspiration in Gemstones  6-8pm Weds 9th May, 2nd Floor Jewellery Dept    Disa Allsopp set up her first studio in Barbados, where she was raised, before moving in 1996 to a studio in London, where she was born. Today, she is renowned for her innovative use of gemstones, and her work has been sold around the world.

Sarah Straussberg: Contemporary Jewellery from the Cutting Edge    When:  3-5pm, Thurs 10th May,     Where:  2nd-floor Jewellery Dept    Alumnus at both Brighton University and Central St. Martins College of Art, Sarah blends her love of sculpture with an eye for exquisite craftsmanship, and hand-makes every piece in her London workshop.

Born in Poland and raised in Austria, Tomasz Donocik studied at Central Saint Martins, London. Captivated by jewellery design, Donocik honed his skills at the Royal College of Art, and his avant-garde work has since won awards from The Goldsmiths’ Company, Couture and more.

When:  5:30-7:30pm, Sat 12th May,     Where:  2nd-floor Jewellery Dept    Inspired into jewellery after early contact with gemstones in Australia – where his father mined sapphires – Mark learned to cut and polish these stones before working as a gem cutter and studying jewellery design and making in Sydney. Today, he continues to visit the mines where he enjoys unique access to beautiful rare sapphires.
